About Pride Wide
Pride Wide is a nonprofit publisher, broadcaster and growth consultancy, advancing LGBTQIA+ rights and lives.
Structure
Pride Wide is formed of Pride Wide Trust (registered charity in England and Wales, 1208890), Pride Wide Inc (currently registering for 501(c)(3) status in the US) and Pride Wide CIC (non-profit Community Interest Company).
As a Community Interest Company, Pride Wide CIC can carry out trading activities, which charities are not permitted to do. This trading generates income which funds the work of our charity.
The Corporate Partnerships Board
The Corporate Partnerships Board is a dedicated working group of high-impact volunteers committed to building the client base of Pride Wide CIC and securing corporate support for Pride Wide in general. Its purpose is to significantly increase Pride Wide’s capacity and impact through identifying partners for our growth consultancy and sponsors for our annual events programme. Members also provide general advice and support as part of the Pride Wide community. The Corporate Partnerships Board draws its membership from both the US and UK and operates in both countries.
Reporting
The Corporate Partnerships Board is led by a volunteer chair whose role is to lead, galvanise, and strategically direct the experienced members of the group.
The Corporate Partnerships Board reports to the Boards of Pride Wide Inc and Pride Wide Trust through the chair. The chair and Corporate Partnerships Board members work closely with the executive leadership of Pride Wide to ensure the organisation has the resources necessary to conduct its work.
The Corporate Partnerships Board is a working group of the Pride Wide movement. Decision-making powers and governance responsibilities remain the responsibility of the Boards of Trustees of Pride Wide Trust and Pride Wide Inc and the directors of Pride Wide CIC.
Key responsibilities
Corporate partnerships
Proactively identify, introduce, and support the securing of new corporate partnerships and sponsorships, particularly for the annual events programme.
Partner introduction and growth
Leverage personal and professional networks to identify potential clients for Pride Wide CIC’s growth consultancy services and facilitate key introductions.
Strategic advice
Offer expertise, insights, and guidance to the Corporate Partnerships Board Chair and executive leadership on market trends, corporate engagement, and strategy for resource mobilisation.
Ambassadorship and outreach
Represent the Corporate Partnerships Board and Pride Wide’s mission to external stakeholders and within personal and professional networks.
Community support
Provide general advice and support as a high-impact volunteer within the wider Pride Wide community.
Commitment
Minimum time commitment: Approximately 5 hours per month.
Meetings:
Attendance at regular Corporate Partnerships Board meetings (one hour monthly).
All meetings are held virtually, to facilitate attendance wherever you are in the world.
Term: A minimum commitment of two years.

The Corporate Partnerships Board Chair: Who provides leadership, galvanisation, and strategic direction to the working group.
Other Corporate Partnerships Board members: Who work collaboratively on corporate partnerships and resource mobilisation.
The Pride Wide executive team: Who provide general support and coordination, as well as creative and strategic guidance.
The US and UK Boards and the Pride Wide Development Council: Who contribute to the overall fundraising strategy of the organisation.
A Pride Wide events team: Dedicated to event logistics for sponsored programmes.
Person specification
Commitment to LGBTQIA+ equality
A demonstrable commitment to LGBTQIA+ equality and Pride Wide’s mission is an essential requirement.
Corporate relations
Proven experience in building and cultivating relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, or high-value clients.
Networking and outreach
Significant professional network in the US or UK that can be leveraged for corporate partnerships or growth consultancy leads.
Strategic and advisory
Experience contributing to and executing strategic plans for business development or non-profit resource mobilisation.
Ambassadorship
Proven experience representing a charity, business or movement to internal and external stakeholders.
Board engagement
Ability to engage constructively in high-level advisory discussions and follow through on committed actions.
Safeguarding and inclusion
Experience in ethical fundraising and safeguarding standards is desirable but not essential. Candidates should be comfortable working across different identities/ geographies.
